This design has just been published in the November/December 2008 issue of  PieceWork Magazine.  It is a companion piece to the Raspberry Truffle Tuffet that won the Grand Prize in PieceWork Magazine Presents The Excellence in Needle Arts Awards - Pincushions 2008 that was featured on the cover of the July/August issue of PieceWork magazine.

This Tuffet can be taught as an intensive one day class by teaching a scissor fob design that includes all techniques used in the pincushion.  The students will need to complete the cross stitching for the scissor fob as pre-work.  The first part of the class concentrates on beaded berries and the stems and leaves.  The second part of the class covers the needlelace sepals, and the process for finishing.  The finishing and beaded cord for the Tuffet will also be explained and demonstrated and the comprehensive instructions will allow students to finish the piece at home after the class.
